Medvedev accused the head of the European Commission of stupidity and incompetence

The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, points to Russia’s losses from new sanctions, but does not pay attention to the losses of European companies, which speaks of its stupidity of incompetence. This statement was made by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.

“It’s bad when the head of the European Commission does not understand the economy at all and is used to looking at purely medical objects. <...> Alas, the rule of medicine does not apply here, cura te ipsum! (doctor, heal yourself). Stupidity and incompetence cannot be cured.” wrote he is in his Telegram channel.

Earlier today Ursula von der Leyen informedthat the tenth round of sanctions would include €11 billion in trade restrictions, which she said would “weaken Russia’s ability to maintain its war machine.”

Medvedev also commented call Head of EU diplomacy Josep Borrell to the European countries “as soon as possible” to transfer to Ukraine their “dusty” tanks in warehouses. The politician called Borrell “a man tormented by Narzan” and ironically noted that “this is the only way a true diplomat should act.”

Medvedev described the statements of European politicians as a freak show (translated from English as “freak show.” – Note by Vedomosti) and added that it must continue. “Who is next?” the deputy chairman of the Security Council asked a rhetorical question in conclusion.

Prior to this, Medvedev has repeatedly compared the situation in Europe with a “circus of freaks.” According to him, the apogee of this show was the meeting of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky with the King of Great Britain Charles III. Medvedev declaredthat the Europeans were sold a “cheap pornographic show”, which brought problems – a rise in the cost of living and national humiliation.
