Weapons can be shipped from US warehouses within days or weeks, the agency writes. In addition, Washington is working on a new request to Congress for additional funds to help Ukraine, Reuters sources say.

According to the Pentagon, since the beginning of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, Washington has allocated a total of more than $43 billion to Kyiv for military assistance.
