Media: snipers of the special forces of the Kosovo police arrived in the Serbian regions of Kosovo

Contrary to the guarantees of the international mission under the auspices of NATO, snipers from the police special forces of the unrecognized republic arrived in the north of Kosovo. Armed with sniper rifles, members of the Rosu special forces unit were seen in the municipality of Leposavić. This was reported by the local edition of Vecherne Novosti.
According to the newspaper, earlier the city, together with representatives of the international missions of NATO and the European Union, was patrolled by ordinary police officers.
On Thursday, a rally against the oppression of the Serbian population was held on the administrative line of Serbia and Kosovo. At it, the leader of the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, Goran Rakic, promised that the barricades erected in the north of Kosovo due to ignorance by the international community of persecution of Serbs would not be removed until the authorities of the unrecognized republic fulfilled all the conditions of the protesters.
The situation in the Serb-populated north of Kosovo and Metohija began to escalate on 8 December. On this day, from 200 to 300 special police officers of the unrecognized Kosovo entered there in armored vehicles and blocked Kosovska Mitrovica. The police used stun grenades.
