Rospotrebnadzor accused the Mutabor club of violating sanitary and epidemiological requirements; it faces suspension of work for up to three months. The organization was brought to administrative responsibility even before the “almost naked” party took place, writes TASS citing a source in law enforcement agencies.

“Rospotrebnadzor brought the Mutabor club to administrative responsibility, accusing it of committing a crime under Article 6.6. Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation of sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the organization of catering for the population in specially equipped places: canteens, restaurants, cafes, bars and other places, including during the preparation of food and drinks, their storage and sale to the population),” the agency’s interlocutor said.

According to media reports, the order to eliminate violations was revealed even before the “almost naked” party, organized by TV presenter and blogger Anastasia Ivleeva.

Now “Mutabor” is closed and sealed, and the New Year’s event has been postponed to February 2024. A court in Moscow on January 9 will decide the issue of suspending the club’s activities, the agency writes.

Ivleeva’s party with the dress code “almost naked” was held at Mutabor on December 20 and 21. On the first day, representatives of Russian show business were invited to the event, including singers Philip Kirkorov, Lolita Milyavskaya, Dima Bilan, journalist Ksenia Sobchak and others. Later they apologized for participating in the party. On the second day, everyone could buy a ticket to the event.

December 26 Khamovnichesky District Court of Moscow registered a class action lawsuit against Ivleeva, the authors of which are asking for compensation for moral damage in the amount of 1 billion rubles. The next day, the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, announced that the Federal Tax Service of Russia had begun an on-site inspection of Ivleeva for tax evasion. According to her, the inspection “has every chance of ending in the initiation of a criminal case.”

Lefortovo court December 27 considered a party promoting LGBT relations (the movement is recognized as extremist and is prohibited in the Russian Federation). On December 29, the same court fined Ivleeva 100,000 rubles. for organizing an “almost naked” party under Part 1 of Art. 20.2.2 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
