Media: Azerbaijan and Armenia agreed on a ceasefire

Baku and Yerevan agreed on a ceasefire from 08:00 Moscow time, about this reported Azerbaijani agency Trend.
“After a large-scale provocation by the Armenian armed forces on the state border and retaliatory measures from Azerbaijan, a ceasefire was reached at 09:00 (08:00 Moscow time),” the statement said.
According to the publication, the Armenian armed forces violated the agreement and “continued provocations”, but from 09:15 local time the ceasefire was restored.
The conflict between Baku and Yerevan escalated the day before, on September 12. At night, clashes took place on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, there are dead and injured on both sides.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has already phoned Russian President Vladimir Putin, they discussed the situation on the border and agreed on operational contact.
