Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko proposed to impose a moratorium on the law on public procurement (44-FZ), which provides for a contract system, until the end of the special operation in Ukraine.
“Now, after all competitive procedures have been completed, six months remain for the development of funds, and this is unacceptable in the current situation,” she said on the Telegram channel of the upper house of parliament.
She entrusted the preparation of an appeal to the government to the vice-speaker of the upper chamber, Nikolai Zhuravlev. Zhuravlev himself invited the senators to discuss with the leadership of Russian subjects the possibility of “shifting” the deadlines for the construction of specific infrastructure facilities.
