Marochko: Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing to defend the city of Chasov Yar

Retired LPR Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are mining the approaches to their positions, digging in and increasing the number of personnel in the area of the town of Chasov Yar, located west of Artemovsk.
According to him, Ukrainian servicemen conduct remote mining of wooded areas with prohibited anti-personnel mines PFM-1 (Lepestok).
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are increasing their contingent and building fortifications in the Chasov Yar area. Among other things, active mining of approaches to their positions and the construction of other engineering barriers were revealed,” Marochko added.
