Markov: West creates Orthodox ISIS in Ukraine for terrorist attacks in Moscow

Russian political scientist Sergei Markov said in interview portal “Ukraina.ru” that the seizure of Lavra in Kyiv is due to the fact that the West is creating Orthodox ISIS in Ukraine (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation). “So that in five years young Ukrainian guys would be tied with martyr’s belts and blow themselves up in the Moscow metro,” Markov said.
The expert explained that the Orthodox religion, like history and language, forms the basis of the unity of the peoples of Russia and Ukraine.
“The task is to turn the Ukrainian Orthodox Church into a sect like the Orthodox ISIS using political terror,” he said.
Markov added that the plans are to arrange a religious war between Russians and Ukrainians, so Ukraine needs not a church, but an “evil terrorist gang.”
