Manturov urged to resume the work of the Lugansk aircraft repair plant in a short time

It is necessary to quickly resume the work of the Luhansk Aviation Repair Plant, which has been idle since 2014, said Deputy Prime Minister, head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov during a visit to the region.

“The issue of wage arrears to the employees of the enterprise will be resolved, if necessary, they will be provided with additional training, an inventory of all the opportunities and problems of the enterprise will be carried out, and in about a year and a half it should reach the indicators that were before the shutdown of its work,” quotes Manturov press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

As the acting head of the LPR Leonid Pasechnik noted, there is still one enterprise – the private plant “Marshal”, which produces valves. Here it is necessary to resolve the problem of expanding the sales market and investment. Manturov noted that the enterprise can take advantage of federal measures of state support.

In December last year, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the annexed regions should be brought to national levels by 2030. Then Putin instructed the government to prepare a program for the development of new territories during the first quarter of this year.

On September 30, 2022, Putin and the leaders of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions signed agreements on the entry of these regions into the Russian Federation. According to Putin, after signing the document, the inhabitants of these regions “become citizens of the Russian Federation forever.”
