“I assure you that the defense-industrial complex fully and strictly according to plan provides combat aviation, navy, and ground forces with all advanced types of weapons,” he said (quote according to TASS).
The minister noted that foreign experts “rightly call the Russian defense industry the most advanced in the world.”
October 17, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reportedthat the Cabinet of Ministers has provided defense industry enterprises with the opportunity to use all reserves to increase the production of artillery systems.
Then the minister drew attention to the importance of prompt production of artillery systems and ammunition for them. In this regard, the Ministry of Defense also “simplified the procedure for concluding contracts, reduced the volume of testing, and reduced the requirements for the selection of components, subject to maintaining the quality of the final product.”
