Manturov: unfriendly countries are conducting industrial espionage against Russia
The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, said that industrial espionage against Russia is carried out by unfriendly countries. They are hunting for Russian developments, as well as valuable personnel and parameters of weapons.
According to him, such espionage has always existed, at all times.
“However, it doesn’t just come down to espionage. Earlier it was reported that the FSB prevented an assassination attempt on one of the leaders of defense industry enterprises,” Manutrov noted.
He clarified that an active live hunt is taking place not only for some important developments, data and parameters of Russian weapons, but also for specialists who are of particular value.
