Acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin said that the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov visited the Azov shipyard, the sea trade port, the Azovmash and Ingaz enterprises, the Ilyich Iron and Steel Works in Mariupol. The Minister promised to restore the city’s enterprises.

“Denis Manturov expressed the opinion that it is necessary to comprehensively consider the work of the Azov Shipyard and the Mariupol Port. And he noted that, together with factories from other Russian regions, the industrial enterprises of the city will be restored,” Denis Pushilin wrote in his Telegram channel.

In May, Denis Pushilin said that more than 60% of Mariupol’s buildings were to be demolished. As a result of clashes in the city, the Ilyich Iron and Steel Works, the Azov Shipyard and other enterprises were almost completely destroyed. In August, the Ministry of Construction informed about plans to restore Mariupol in three years. It is planned to restore the production of the city’s factories, as well as create special economic zones in the area of ​​the seaport.
