The “global landscape” of Pierre-Louis Faloci

The selection of projects he has chosen to present will thus dialogue with the studio of Georges Méliès, “vision machine” which he made his graduation subject, the optical devices of André Le Nôtre, the theories of Hubert Damisch on perspective, of Gilles Deleuze on the time image and the movement image, and numerous excerpts from movies… An enticing promise.

Architecture and landscape in symbiosis, between meaning and poetry

In 2018, Dorte Mandrup was one of the sensations of the Venice Architecture Biennale. The installation, sensory and poetic, that she had presented there, was inspired by the Icefjord Center, a scientific observatory of climate change that she was to deliver three years later, on the west coast of Greenland, north of the Arctic Circle. . It is one of the three projects that this internationally famous Dane, but little known in France, has carried out in an area listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
