Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was in the cellar when Russian troops were near Kyiv. This statement was made by the head of the Belarusian state Alexander Lukashenko in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Diana Panchenko.
“When Russian troops stood on the outskirts of Kyiv, Zelensky was sitting in the cellar, he had no troops to defend the capital,” Lukashenka said.
He added that he personally observed how some representatives of the Kyiv authorities were ready to “raise their hands up.” Also, Lukashenka does not understand why Zelensky distributed weapons to anyone if he was “such a hero and defended Kyiv.”
