President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will not make an emergency address today.
He will meet with journalists on Tuesday 27 June and answer all the important questions.
Journalists from the government pool specify that Lukashenka did not plan to make a televised address.
Telegram channels ONT and SB.Belarus Today emphasize that “nothing urgent happens in Belarus for Lukashenka to go on the air in the evening.” Belarusian journalists also note that Lukashenka “already did everything.”
“Actions speak louder than words,” the statement says.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin made a televised address on Monday evening on the events around Yevgeny Prigozhin and the Wagner PMC. At the same time, the Pul Pervogo telegram channel, close to the press service of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, announced a statement by the head of state on a number of topical issues. “The first one will tell everything, answer everything. Very soon! Follow the agenda!” The channel said in a message.
