This is a very good move. It is not necessary in this situation, straining the situation, to demand the impossible,” Lukashenka said.

In addition, the Belarusian leader named the similarity of the characters of Shoigu and Prigogine is the reason for the start of the conflict between them. “He [Пригожин] – like Shoigu, they have the same characters – they are very impulsive. And so it began,” the President of the Republic noted.

On June 24, Lukashenka participated in negotiations with Prigozhin, who attempted a military mutiny. Then he took control of Rostov-on-Don and announced plans to move towards Moscow. This was preceded by an accusation from the Ministry of Defense of attacking the rear camps of the company. The department called this information a provocation. In the evening of the same day, following the results of negotiations, it became known that the Wagner would return to the rear camps, the criminal case against Prigozhin about a military mutiny would be terminated, and he himself would move to Belarus. On June 27, the FSB of Russia announced the termination of the criminal case.
