Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, by definition, cannot end in failure, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said at an open lesson in Minsk.
“Russia cannot be defeated there. And I am in this, and many Belarusians support Russia in this regard,” leads his words “BelTA”.
Lukashenka added that the Russian special operation is of a preventive nature, otherwise, “a missile attack would have been delivered on the territory of Belarus first of all.” According to him, the missile battalions were located along the entire perimeter of the border with Russia, and they were trained not in Ukraine, but in the United States.
Earlier in July, Lukashenko urged Ukraine to sit down at the negotiating table and agree never to threaten Russia again. According to him, now Ukraine has the opportunity to complete the special operation on favorable terms, and if Ukraine does not have long-range weapons, Russia will give it security guarantees.
The special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals.
