Russia and Belarus intend to create a joint constellation of satellites in space, including for military purposes. This was stated by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
“Russia and I have agreed to create a joint grouping in space – spacecraft,” BelTA quotes him as saying.
According to him, this will be done not only for military purposes. He also pointed out that Belarus was able to “wedged” into the satellite creation program and in the near future the country would send its cosmonaut into orbit.
