Press service of Alexander Lukashenko informedthat the President of Belarus held talks with the head of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin at the request of Vladimir Putin. They walked all day. As a result, an agreement was reached on the inadmissibility of “unleashing a bloody massacre on the territory of Russia.”

According to the press service, Yevgeny Prigozhin accepted the proposal of the President of Belarus to stop the movement of PMCs and take further steps to de-escalate tensions. An “absolutely profitable and acceptable option for solving the situation, with security guarantees for the Wagner PMC fighters” has been prepared.

Evgeny Prigozhin himself confirmedthat he gave the order to deploy the march and “return to the field camps, according to plan.” According to him, he decided to do this in order to avoid bloodshed.
