France’s L’Oreal Group has shared first-quarter 2023 sales figures, posting a 13% rise to more than $11 billion year-on-year. Sales are reported to be up across all divisions, but with ‘outstanding’ performance in Essie brands , L`Oreal Paris, Garnier, Matrix and Redken. Decorative cosmetics has become the fastest growing category. Key products included L’Oreal Paris’ Telescopic Lift Mascara, NYX Professional Makeup’s Bare With Me Blur Tint, and Maybelline New York Superstay Vinyl Ink lipstick.
