London police arrest man at Queen’s farewell ceremony

At the farewell ceremony for Queen Elizabeth II, a man tore the standard from the coffin. After that, the violator of the order was arrested. This was reported by the Sky News channel with reference to Tracy Holland, who witnessed the incident.
According to the woman, the incident occurred around 22:00 on Friday, London time (or at midnight Saturday, Moscow time). Before rushing to the coffin and ripping off the standard, the man pushed Holland’s seven-year-old niece.
Farewell to the Queen takes place in the oldest and largest hall of the Palace of Westminster – Westminster Hall. Bodyguards are on duty at the coffin around the clock, among them the royal guards. People who came to the farewell ceremony cannot come closer than 3-4 meters from the coffin.
The farewell ceremony began at 5:00 pm on September 14 and will last until 06:30 am on September 19 local time.
