Lithuania is concerned about possible peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine

Ukraine risks being unwittingly drawn into peace negotiations with Russia if the allies do not supply Kyiv with the weapons and ammunition necessary for victory, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said. His words are quoted by Bloomberg.
The Lithuanian Foreign Minister believes that the Kiev regime’s lack of missile systems and ammunition, as well as the months-long decision-making process in the EU, risk putting Ukraine in a position in which it will have no choice but to sue for peace. In his opinion, this option is “not Ukraine’s choice.”
He also stated that Ukraine itself would never negotiate with the Russian Federation, but reality may force it to take this step.
A few days ago, Landsbergis, at the Council of Foreign Ministers of the European Union, called calls for a ceasefire in Ukraine a “shameful proposal.” Landsbergis also previously stated that Russia allegedly wants to start military operations against NATO. Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, commenting on his statements, suggested that Landsbergis “calm down.”
