Lieutenant NM DPR explained the difficulty of trying to move the front line away from Donetsk

Retired senior lieutenant of the People’s Militia of the DPR Alexander Matyushin, in an interview with URA.RU, said that because of the fortified areas in the villages, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are very difficult to move away from Donetsk.
According to him, almost all settlements located near Donetsk are quite large Ukrainian fortified areas.
“This can be said, for example, about Avdeevka, Pervomaisky and other small villages that are nearby. The village of Pervomaisky was stormed by units of the First Slavic Brigade since last summer,” Matyushin added.
He clarified that it would be even more difficult to take Krasnohorivka, since Ukrainian military personnel turned a brick factory located in the city center into a “fortress” back in 2015.
