The press service of the Libyan Foreign Ministry issued a statement, which refers to the removal of the country’s foreign minister, Najla Mangoush.
It is specified that the corresponding decision was made by the Government of National Unity of Libya, Abdelhamid Dbeiba.
The reason for the resignation was Mangush’s meeting with Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen.
“The GNU Foreign Ministry of Libya confirms its complete and absolute rejection of the normalization of relations with Israel,” the statement said.
