Military expert Alexey Leonkov commented on the message of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry that President Vladimir Zelensky agreed on the candidacy of the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny for the post of ambassador in London.

“This appointment is a sign that the Anglo-Saxons have made a decision to replace Zelensky,” Lenkov wrote in his Telegram channel.

He added that Zaluzhny will take “a course for a young president” in the UK.

At the same time, in early February, immediately after Zaluzhny’s resignation, the Washington Post, citing informed sources, reported that he refused the post of Ukrainian Ambassador to Great Britain due to his reluctance to leave the army during martial law.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry claims that it has already sent the British side a corresponding request for an agreman for Zaluzhny.
