The famous little boy will this time be brought to the screen in an animated film, which has already won an award at the Annecy Festival.
Chance of the calendar, alignment of the planets, synchronicity or pure coincidence, no one can claim to know… But the thing is certain: while Jean-Jacques Sempé has just disappeared, his favorite character, Little Nicolas, co-created with René Goscinny, returns to theaters on October 12.
This unique animated film, soberly titled Le Petit Nicolas, what are we waiting for to be happy?, directed by Amandine Fredon and Benjamin Massoubre, has just won the Cristal d’or at the last Annecy Animation Film Festival. It tells in cartoon the process of creation of Petit Nicolas, by staging its creators Sempé and Goscinny.
