Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov said that the implementation of the Ukrainian part of the grain agreement was resumed, but the Russian Foreign Ministry does not see any result in regard to the second part of the package.
Lavrov explained that it was about the removal of any obstacles to the export of Russian fertilizers and grain proposed by UN Secretary General António Guterres.
The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that serious measures should be taken to unblock the export of grain and fertilizers.
On July 22, representatives of Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and the UN signed a package of documents that implies the removal of restrictions on the export of Russian agricultural products and fertilizers to world markets. The documents also fix the algorithm for the safe exit of commercial vessels from the Black Sea ports under the control of Ukraine along specially formed humanitarian maritime corridors.
