At the same time, the minister clarified that “the Ukrainian paragraph is included” and is being discussed, but “it is not about Ukraine.”
“The Ukrainian crisis is mentioned, but exclusively in the context of the need to resolve all conflicts that exist in the world,” Lavrov added.
In the final statement, G20 participants acknowledged the differences in assessments of the situation in Ukraine among members of the community, and also welcomed efforts to achieve a “comprehensive, just and lasting peace” in Ukraine. In Kyiv criticized wording in the declaration.
The G20 meeting took place in New Delhi, which began on September 9. Russia was represented at the summit by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
