Lavrov: The US is creating new military alliances in the East

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, speaking at a general political debate at the UN General Assembly, said that the West is trying in vain to maintain dominance in global politics.
In addition, the Russian minister noted that the world is experiencing irreversible changes, as those who want self-determination and those who rely on neocolonial policies are entering the fray.
According to Lavrov, for this purpose, Washington is creating military-political mini-alliances, such as AUKUS, the US-Japan-Republic of Korea troika, and the Tokyo-Seoul-Canberra-Wellington quartet. These alliances, the Russian minister emphasized, are controlled by the United States and their participants are being drawn into practical cooperation with NATO.
At the same time, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted, BRICS and the SCO stand for a multipolar world.
