The Ukrainian people will be liberated from neo-Nazi rulers, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in a documentary that was shown on the Rossiya-24 TV channel on Saturday.
“The Ukrainian people will be liberated from neo-Nazi rulers, they deserve to live in good neighborliness, friendship, prosperity next to their Slavic brothers,” said he (TASS quote).
The special military operation began on 24 February. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
On November 15, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Bali that the Ukrainian side was putting forward unrealistic conditions for continuing negotiations with Russia. At the same time, the minister stressed that Russia, for its part, still does not refuse to continue the dialogue.
