Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said during a press conference in Minsk that Moscow is checking information about the involvement of OSCE observers working in Donbass in the actions of the Kyiv regime against the civilian population of the region.
“We are now checking the information that <...> give grounds to suspect that some employees of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission did not just hide, concealed information about the real state of affairs, but, in fact, helped the Ukrainian regime in preparing to carry out military actions against the civilian population,” Lavrov said.
Regarding the data that is being verified, the minister said that they came into the possession of the Russian side in the course of the SVO.
Meanwhile, according to statements by representatives of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Moscow’s criticism of the SMM primarily concerns the leadership of this structure, while the work of many of its ordinary observers can only command respect.
