Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived on a visit to Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, TASS informs.
Lavrov to meet with the political leadership of the country. He last visited Kenya in 2010. Previously, Lavrov had two tours of the African continent. In January, he visited South Africa, Eswatini, Angola and Eritrea, and in February – Mali, Mauritania and Sudan.
Earlier, Lavrov called the West’s plans for the supply of F-16 fighter jets to Kyiv an unacceptable escalation. He also said that he hoped that “there are still reasonable people in the West who understand this.” At the same time, he noted that “all Washington, London and their satellites, which are within the European Union, dictate.”
