Latvia threatened with deportation for voting in the Russian presidential elections

Latvian Minister of Justice Inese Libiņa-Egnere spoke about what could threaten citizens who wish to vote in the Russian presidential elections.
According to her, the Latvian authorities cannot interfere with voting on the territory of the Russian embassy, however, the foreign ministers of the Baltic countries have prepared a joint note of protest against the “actions of the Kremlin.” Allegedly, the Russian presidential elections may somehow threaten their national security.
The country’s authorities do not rule out that records will be kept of those who came to the Russian presidential elections, after which they will also be declared a “threat to national security” and expelled from Latvia.
