The Big Four mobile operators – MTS, MegaFon, Beeline and Tele2 – have zeroed out fees for calls to emergency hotlines in connection with the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow. RIA Novosti clarifies that the measure will be in effect from March 23 to April 5 inclusive for subscribers in all regions.
“Subscribers of all tariff plans will be able to make free calls to emergency phone numbers, including the hotline of the Ministry of Health of the Moscow Region, information services for obtaining information about the admission of victims to hospitals, the psychological assistance line of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and others,” leads TASS message from the Tele2 press service.
The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall occurred yesterday, March 22, in the evening. A group of men in camouflage opened fire in the concert hall, died 115 people, more than 100 injured. The shooters set fire to the chairs in the auditorium, after which a fire started. To help the relatives of those killed and injured in the terrorist attack, a special hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Health of the Moscow Region and a specialized center was organized. The support center, according to the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov, has already received 272 calls, about 40 relatives contacted the center in person.
