A march in support of Palestine took place in Berlin, RIA Novosti reports.
The report said that about 4 thousand people took part in the event, they marched with Palestinian flags and opposed the Israeli army’s attacks on the Gaza Strip. It is noted that the demonstrators tried to distance themselves from Hamas.
The event reportedly took place without significant incidents. At the same time, a rally took place in parallel with it in another area, where demonstrators opposed the ban on the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which has been in force in Germany since 1993. At the event, protesters criticized Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Earlier, the Turkish leader visited the capital of Germany and took part in negotiations with his German counterpart Olaf Scholz.
