The head of the transitional cabinet of ministers of the Jewish state, Yair Lapid, said that no Israeli government would allow Iran to have nuclear weapons. Lapid’s statement was circulated by his office.
“If we need to act, we will act,” he said. “I discussed this with future Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.”
He also stressed that this is one of the few topics on which there is complete agreement among the Israeli public.
