A prolonged coronavirus disease risks ending in long-term damage to internal organs, according to a study by British scientists published in The Lancet Respiratory Medicine.
Reportedly, 259 people were examined. Those hospitalized with COVID-19 had a higher risk of pathological changes in two or more organs than the control group.
It was previously reported that in men who have been ill with coronavirus for a long time, the color of their legs may change when their body is in an upright position. So, the color changes to purple, and the legs gradually become heavier.
