Kyiv is unlikely to receive new aid from the US until the end of the year – congressman

Ukraine has very little chance of receiving a new aid package from the United States before the end of 2023, said Mike Turner, head of the House Intelligence Committee.
Turner noted that this is hampered by the White House policy regarding the southern border of the United States, which remains under threat.
The Hill notes that a growing number of Republican Party members in the House of Representatives oppose approval of increased aid to Kyiv.
Earlier, former British officer Glen Grant said that all Western countries that are partners of Ukraine, with the exception of the United States, have already given all their weapons to the Kyiv regime. Among the countries left without weapons thanks to help from Kyiv, he named Latvia, Estonia, the Czech Republic, and noted that Poland gave away a huge amount of weapons, but never received new ones. At the same time, according to him, the United States remains in possession of large reserves of weapons, but they are in no hurry to share them with Ukraine “for certain reasons,” including due to “preparation for a war with China.”
The Pentagon reported that restrictions on arms supplies to the Kyiv regime have already begun. Earlier, US President Joe Biden signed a new temporary budget until January-February. The document does not provide for the allocation of assistance to Ukraine and Israel.
