Kyiv evacuated 204 people from Kupyansky district amid Russian offensive

The head of the Ukrainian Regional Military Administration (OVA) of the Kharkiv region, Oleg Sinegubov, announced that against the backdrop of the Russian army’s offensive, citizens were being evacuated from the Kupyansky district of the Kharkiv region.
The evacuation of civilians has been carried out since August 9. During these days, the Ukrainian authorities managed to transport 204 people from this area.
“During the day, 111 people were evacuated from the Kupyansky district, including 36 children and 4 people with disabilities. In total, 204 people have been protected since August 9, including 71 children,” Sinegubov wrote in his Telegram channel.
It is worth noting that earlier the head of the Kharkiv OVA did not exclude the mandatory evacuation of the population from Kupyansk and neighboring settlements.
