Kyiv court arrested Ukrainian oligarch Kolomoisky

The Shevchenkovsky court in Kyiv has ordered the arrest of Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky for two months, according to the local newspaper Vesti.
“The court chose a measure of restraint for Igor Kolomoisky in the form of detention for 2 months,” the message says.
At the same time, the court retained the possibility of making a bail of UAH 509 million. (about 1.32 billion rubles at the current exchange rate). The court session was held behind closed doors.
Earlier, on September 2, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) handed Kolomoisky a suspicion under articles on fraud and money laundering. Prior to this, the security forces conducted searches in his house.
The investigation suspects the oligarch that he during 2013-2020. legalized more than $13 million by withdrawing funds abroad using controlled banking institutions.
