Yesterday, December 5, APU tried to attack with drones the airfields “Dyagilevo” in the Ryazan region and “Engels” in the Saratov region, the targets of the attacks were long-range aircraft, the Russian Defense Ministry reported. The drones were intercepted by air defense, however, when their fragments fell and exploded, three servicemen were killed, and the hull skin of two aircraft was also slightly damaged.
The Ministry of Defense also noted that on the afternoon of December 5, the Russian Armed Forces again inflicted a massive strike on the military command and control system and related objects of the defense complex, communication centers, energy and military units of Ukraine, hitting all 17 designated objects.
Since the beginning of the special operation, the Ukrainian military has been regularly shelling the border regions of Russia. On November 20, the “yellow” (high) level of terrorist threat was extended in the Kursk region until December 6. A similar decision was made by the authorities of the Belgorod region.
