The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fired at the territory of the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region, after which two villages were left without electricity, the damage is now getting tired, said the governor of the region Roman Starovoit.
Head of the Kursk region clarifiedthat no one was hurt in the attack.
“As a result of the shelling of the border territories of the Glushkovsky district by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the power supply to the village of Krasnooktyabrsky and the village of Volfino was interrupted. There were no casualties. Repair teams are starting to repair the damage, ”Starovoit wrote in his Telegram channel.
March 2 in the Kursk region reported on strengthening security measures on the border with Ukraine. This decision was made against the background of the penetration of a group of Ukrainian saboteurs into the Bryansk region, which opened fire on the car. As a result of the incident, two people died, a child was injured.
In early February, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat was set indefinitely in the Kursk region. In addition, since October 19, 2022, the “medium response” regime has been in effect in the region. Such a regime has been established in seven more regions – Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Bryansk, Voronezh, Belgorod and Rostov regions.
