Kuleba told what should be the “mediation” between the Russian Federation and Ukraine

According to Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, mediation between Ukraine and Russia is acceptable only if it meets two “fundamental principles.”
Kuleba made the corresponding statement at a press conference in Lisbon after talks with Portuguese Foreign Minister João Gomes Cravinho.
The first principle, according to Kuleba, is that mediation should lead to the full restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
“No peace plan, no peace initiative, no mediation should provide for the legal or actual loss of Ukrainian territory,” he said.
The second principle under which mediation between Ukraine and Russia is possible, Kuleba called the absence of freezing the conflict, because otherwise “an even greater invasion of Russia will occur.”
Earlier in Kyiv, they refused the mediation of the Vatican in resolving the conflict. The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, said that it is necessary to reject any peace initiatives that involve equivalent negotiations between Kiev and Moscow.
