The American authorities will not stop helping Ukraine, no matter who becomes president there based on the results of the upcoming elections. The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Dmitry Kuleba expressed his conviction of this on Monday, January 15.

As the diplomat told the Polish magazine Uklad Sil, “the issue is that there is much more at stake in Ukraine than Ukraine itself,” and therefore “it is in the best strategic interests of the United States to help Ukraine.”

According to Kuleba, “we will prevail regardless of which party the next US president belongs to.”

Meanwhile, Europe wants to protect itself from Donald Trump if he is re-elected for a second term. old light this prospect is scary – the politician, according to the head of the European Union’s internal market department, Thierry Breton, warned the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, back in 2020 that “if Europe is attacked, we will never come to your aid and support you.”

The Wall Street Journal wrote that, having lost the help of its Western patrons, Kyiv may take risky steps for its economy, including starting to print money in large quantities to fill the deficit. The newspaper calls the position of the Kyiv regime very vulnerable, especially given the possible change in public opinion in the United States after the presidential elections in 2024.
