Krisevich again received five years in prison for shooting on Red Square

Artist and actionist Pavel Krisevich was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment in a general regime colony under the article of hooliganism. The Tver Court of the capital made a corresponding decision on Wednesday, September 27, in the case of the shooting that Krisevich carried out on Red Square.
This is a repeat sentence: in 2022, the court already sentenced Krisevich to a similar term, but the Moscow City Court overturned this decision, sending the case for further investigation and retrial. This was explained by the fact that the court initially did not take into account the “ideological motive” in the actions of the actionist.
Pavel Krisevich was detained for shooting in the main square of the country on June 11, 2021. He read out the manifesto and then made several shots from a cold pistol.
This is not the first shocking action by Krisevich. In particular, he suspended himself on cables on the Trinity Bridge, explaining this by solidarity with political prisoners.
