Russian President Vladimir Putin is not going to create personal accounts on social networks following the example of other politicians. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, transmits TASS.
The journalists asked the Kremlin representative if the Russian leader had reconsidered his attitude to personal presence in social networks. As an example, they cited former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, who opened a TikTok account, and asked if Putin intended to follow the example of a European politician.
“No, he doesn’t plan to,” Peskov replied.
Berlusconi started a TikTok profile the day before. In the first video, the former Prime Minister of Italy addressed the youth, saying that he was going to actively interact with young users on the platform and discuss their concerns. Later, he published another video in which he told a political anecdote about himself, Vladimir Putin, US President Joe Biden and the Pope.
