Kremlin: drone attack on Moscow confirms the need for a special operation

The attack of drones on objects in Moscow once again confirms the need to continue the special operation in Ukraine, said the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.
Journalists during a conference call asked Peskov if the Kremlin was concerned that Russians were in danger in connection with the special operation, pointing out that there were no such incidents before it began.
“This once again confirms the need to continue this special military operation and achieve the goals set,” Peskov replied.
During a conversation with reporters, Peskov also said that the drone attack on Moscow was Kyiv’s response to effective strikes by Russian military personnel on one of the decision-making centers on Sunday, May 28. Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to him, does not plan to address the population of the country in connection with the incident.
On the morning of May 30, Ukraine launched a terrorist attack on facilities in Moscow, using eight aircraft-type devices, reported today the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Five UAVs were shot down by the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and gun system in the Moscow region, three more were suppressed by electronic warfare. These three devices “lost control and deviated from their intended targets” as a result.
