Kommersant learned about the change in the owner of the network of veterinary clinics being developed by Invitro

The owner of the network of veterinary clinics Vet Union, which was developed by Invitro, became the owner of a supplier of equipment for Russian Railways “A-Telematics” Dmitry Kokin, writes “Kommersant”. In July, the owner changed at the Invitro chain itself.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the businessman received 74.9% in Proactiv Inform, which managed the medical Internet television channel Med2Med and other Invitro media projects, as well as 76% in Raritas Tera, which, according to the publication, is the technical legal entity of the holding. The remaining shares were transferred to businessman Roman Mironchik, the new owner of Invitro.

Vet Union consists of three veterinary clinics and a laboratory complex for animals. At the end of 2022, its revenue amounted to just over 494 million rubles, and the loss was 22 million rubles. Sergey Sereda, President of the Russian Association of Practicing Veterinarians and founder of the Center veterinary clinic, in a commentary to the publication pointed to a relatively small number of high-quality veterinary clinics in Russia, so they are of interest to investors. In 2018-2022 the number of paid veterinary services for pets in Russia increased by 9.4% and amounted to 37.4 million, according to the newspaper, citing BusinesStat.

According to Sergey Shulyak, CEO of DSM Group, the network’s current value is about 200-250 million rubles.

As Vedomosti wrote earlier in July, the founder and owner of the Invitro laboratory network, Alexander Ostrovsky, sold the company to businessman Roman Mironchik. The amount of the transaction is not disclosed. According to Mikhail Burmistrov, General Director of Infoline Analytics, it could exceed 40 billion rubles. DSM Group CEO Sergey Shulyak estimates the agreement lower – at 30 billion rubles. The network of laboratories “Invitro” was founded in 1995. In total, the holding unites 1,800 medical offices and eight laboratory complexes. At the end of 2021, the company’s revenue exceeded 38 billion rubles.

“Invitro” launched a network of veterinary clinics under the Vet Union brand at the end of 2021. Investments in each of the three points opened at that time were estimated at 25 million rubles. The Invitro division of Vet Union worked before, but specialized in laboratory research for veterinary clinics, zoos, aquariums, equestrian centers, shelters, animal welfare funds, etc.
