Rosaviatsia presented an updated list of regional routes for subsidizing

The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) has updated scroll routes in 2023 as part of the regional air transportation subsidy program and added seven new destinations to it. Thus, the new list of routes has been expanded to 298 destinations.
The updated list includes the following directions:
- Volgograd-Surgut;
- Irkutsk-Tomsk;
- Krasnoyarsk – Novy Urengoy;
- Krasnoyarsk-Khanty-Mansiysk;
- Makhachkala—Nizhnevartovsk;
- Nizhnevartovsk-Perm;
- Omsk-Tomsk.
In addition, the Federal Air Transport Agency presented the results of the selection of air carriers to provide subsidies from the federal budget this year. A total of 21 airlines took part in the selection, but the agency decided to enter into additional subsidy agreements with only 12 air carriers.
Among them are Siberia Airlines JSC, AZIMUT Airlines JSC, Yamal ATC JSC, KrasAvia JSC, Red Wings JSC, UVT AERO JSC, UTair JSC, AK JSC ” RusLine, Severstal Airline LLC, Northern Wind LLC, UTair Aviation PJSC, Aeroflot PJSC.
The subsidy program, launched to offset the costs of air carriers on domestic flights, has been in effect since April 2022. On its extension in April of this year informed Ministry of Transport. Total program budget for 2023 is about 25 billion rubles, which will allow transporting more than 3.8 million passengers on 412 routes.
