Ukrainian businessman Igor Kolomoisky, who was arrested the day before as part of a criminal case on fraud and money laundering, presumably could have previously been deprived of Ukrainian citizenship.
According to local media, Kolomoisky appears in the case file as a citizen of Israel and Cyprus – copies of the pages of the criminal case were in the public domain.
The criminal case against the businessman became known the day before. It was reported that the SBU officers came to the figurant’s house, but they did not detain him – later Kolomoisky independently arrived at the court, which decided to place him in custody.
At the same time, the judge, reading out the decision to arrest, called the suspect a citizen of Ukraine.
